  • Coffee Art Project

The Coffee Art Project is an exciting art competition linked to the theme of coffee and is one of the core fundraising initiatives of Coffee Week NYC™ 2017.

The competition, sponsored by Blick Art Materials, showcases the creativity and talents of emerging and established artists, while engaging a deep spirit of community among those who share a passion for great coffee.

All artists were invited to submit an original piece of artwork that represents a creative, unique and personal connection to the concept of 'coffee' or a 'coffee shop experience.'

Artists specializing in all media types could submit any form of art, including: paintings, drawings, photography, film, design, sculpture and conceptual art.

The winning artwork will recieve $1,500 cash as well as $500 in gift certificates to Blick Art Materials. Shortlisted runners-up (2) will recieve $500 cash and $200 in gift certificates each. The winner of The New York Coffee Festival Visitor Award will recieve $250 cash and $100 in gift certificate to Blick Art Materials.

Congratulations to the 2017 winner
