That's why The New York Coffee Festival's collaborated with Dona Chai to bring you this mouth-watering yet simple recipe, boasting notes of fresh ginger, cinnamon, green cardamom, cloves, black peppercorns, and organic, loose-leaf black tea.
Here it is:
Yields two servings
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- ¼ c Dona Chai
- 1 ¼ c almond milk
- 1 T honey
- 1 banana, sliced
- Dried cherries
- Macadamia nuts, roasted and chopped
- Combine oats, Dona Chai, almond milk and honey in a small bowl.
- Stir, cover, and refrigerate overnight.
- To serve, divide into two bowls and garnish with banana slices, dried cherries, and macadamia nuts.
